Adventure trip dates
Most of our trips have weekly starting dates
between October and April, please just
contact us to find the best date option for the chosen activity.
The only program which has fixed scheduled dates is the Paso
Marconi - Paso del Viento Traverse ice cap expedition. (It is also available on tailor-made basis at your scheduled choice) We start on Saturdays the following dates with minimum 2 people per group:

Pricing
30% deposit required for all trips to reserve
a spot. Prices do not include airfare. The easiest way to make the deposit
is by wire transfer
Trip Inclusions and Exclusions:The cost of the trip includes:
only camping accommodations (not in single day trips!), food (# of meals is
trip specific - marked at detailed itinerary with B: breakfast, L: lunch,
D: dinner), general equipment (tents, stoves, technical gear, first aid
kit, GPS, and radio), transportation (transfers from El Chaltén
to trekking starting point) and guides.
The tour price does not include: airfare and travel expenses
to start location and from trip ending location; hotel or inn accomodation at the beginning and end of the tour, government tourist taxes;
additional meals; dinner and beverages not detailed, personal gear, clothes,
boots, sleeping bag, backpack, phone calls, insurance, tips, optional activities
and individual costs not provided to the rest of the clients. Trip price
does not include gratuities for the guides. Porters not included (You
will have to carry a 15/18 kilos backpack in some expeditions and ascents.
We will share the general gear and food).
Trip Cost, Deposit and Cancellation: To reserve space, send
a completed signed reservation form with a deposit of 30% to Patagonia
Magica. On receipt of your booking form, we will send a confirmation of
your place and a list of the required equipment. Telephone reservations
are acceptable but a deposit and completed reservation form must be received
within one week to maintain a reservation. The full balance of the trip
cost is due 21 days before the trip departure date. If this balance is
not paid 21 days prior to departure, Patagonia Magica reserves the right
to cancel the client's reservation. If a reservation is made less than
20 days prior to departure, the full balance of the trip is due at that
time. A client's cancellation is effective on the date Patagonia Magica
receives written notice of the cancellation. If the client cancels prior to full balance payment, Patagonia Mágica will not refund the 30% deposit at any date. If the client cancels after full balance is paid then the following refund scale applies:
50 % between 20 and 15 days prior to departure
30 % between 14 and 10 days prior to departure
20 % less than 10 days prior to departure
Once the trip, program or excursion has started there is no refund.
Patagonia Magica reserves the right to cancel a trip up to 30 days prior
to departure on the condition that 100% of the trip cost payment and deposit
be returned to the client. Patagonia Magica may cancel a trip within 30
days of departure for reasons of force majeure, unusual or unforeseen
circumstances outside the company's control. When a trip is canceled by
Patagonia Mágica, the client may choose between a full refund of
all moneys paid or to take any alternative trip with open reservation
space offered by Patagonia Mágica, subject to an adjustment for
any difference in costs.
Cancellation the day of the trip:
* If the guide decides (due to weather conditions, etc.) that
the trip must be canceled, Patagonia Magica will reschedule the trip.
When there is no possibility of rearrange the date, Patagonia Magica will
return the full amount paid.
* If the client(s) decide to cancel the trip, Patagonia Magica will keep
back the total amount.
* Glacier Hike trip cancellation policy apply same terms
as described before plus: Tyrolean river crossing: if at this point, the
guide decides (due to weather) that it is not possible to continue, Patagonia
Magica will return the total amount of the trip. Once you are passed the
Tyrolean river crossing, Patagonia Magica considers the trip is beyond
cancellation, so 100% of the agreed rate shall be charged as cancellation
fee.
Note: Patagonia Magica recommends that all clients purchase traveler's
insurance. If a client is prevented from traveling due to serious illness,
death in the immediate family or a similar catastrophe, at Patagonia Magica's
sole discretion, the client may transfer to another trip or locate another
qualified individual to take client's space subject to the replacement
client executing the required documents.
