Mountain logistics - Porters and guides
If
you are planning to travel to South Patagonia, Argentina to the
Los Glaciares National Park area and you would like logistic services
for your own trip we can offer you the following options (starting at
El Chaltén or at El Calafate, Santa Cruz):
· Expedition support team
· Technical assistance
· Transportation (transfer - shuttle services)
· Hotel and ticket booking
· Horses and porters
· Cook and meal services in the mountains
· Mountain equipment rental.
At Patagonia Mágica we also provide Mountain Guides (guiding services).
If
you like trekking but traveling on your own and do not have that much
experience in mountaineering; you may hire a mountain guide, with
whom you will get to see some of the most incredible views in Chalten
trekking to Paso Marconi, Paso del Viento, the Cerro Huemul Round-trip
(all of them on the very edge of the Southern Ice cap field) but just
by doing your own logistics, using your own gear and in this way
considerably lowering the cost of our regular listed packed trips.
You may also sign up to meet backpackers in the same situation,
gathering groups, with people coming from different places and
sharing the expenses.
