Paso El Cuadrado trekking

Difficulty: Moderate.
Season: October to May

One of the best views of the Fitz Roy and Torre ranges.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Transfer Chaltén - Río Eléctrico. Hike to Piedra del Fraile. 3 hrs. trek (D)


Day 2: Ascent to Paso del Cuadrado. Back to Piedra del Fraile and to El Chalten. 10 hrs. trekking (B-L)

Includes: camping lodging, meals as quoted (L: lunch, D: dinner, B: breakfast) with non alcoholic beverages, guiding service. Also group equipment: tents, stoves, technical gear, first aid kit, GPS, and radio.
Not included: personal gear, clothes, boots, sleeping bag, back pack, phone calls, insurance, dinner and beverages not detailed, porters and tips.

NOTE: You will have to carry a day pack. We'll carry the general gear and food with horses.
